    fight, flight or freeze...

If I had to fight then i'd fight. I'm not the initiator....i'm the finisher. The way I see it, if somebody wants to fight then they should expect the worse to happen because there is no "code of honour" amongst fighters unless it is friendly combat. If the aggressor is bigger and stronger than me then i'll kick him in the balls or punch him in the throat. If he is bent double then a knee to the face to end it. If he looks like he's gonna get back up off the floor then damn right i'll start stamping, punching or kicking. Whats he gonna say "Erm....hey man....like......umm.....I know this is kinda awkward....but like......even though I came over here to cause you large amount of pain.....um........its like wrong to hit me when i'm on the floor.......yeah..... didn't you know theres like......rules?"

(for those unfamiliar, it's about being confronted, either physically, as in a fight, or by other means such as being called on your bullshit it's pretty simple really... you're confronted, generaly speaking do you choose to stick it out and fight, tuck tail and run, or do neither and just freeze with no idea whatsoever exactly on what to do? It depends on the situation, but mostly when I'm f*cking annoyed I'll pick up the fight.

I only believe in using violent force for self defence, and if all else fails. It's just my own personnel law of nature in which i must abide.

The expert marksman will already know that you *NEVER* draw your weapon unless there is an immediate threat to life, limb and/or property. Also consider that a Federal Magistrate told me that if I ever have to pop cap on somebody, to empty the clip....keep pulling the trigger until the hammer falls on an empty chamber. *DO NOT RELOAD!!!* as reloading constitutes "pre-meditation" and will put you behind bars for a very long time. After the first magazine, the threat has ended... either the bad guy is dead or he has hauled ass. When asked "Why did you put 14 9mm rounds into the bad guy??", the correct answer is "Your honor, thats all the gun held."
lol, well the answer is partly in jest in the first place, if you but think of the original scenario. If I am in a situation where I have my wife and kids with me, and a 100% gin-you-wine tally-ban rolls around the corner complete with waving hands, weapon wielded, and crying praises to Allah while running towards my family, then something is wrong But in that most unlikely of scenario's, I am fairly certain it would be safe to say that his immediate intention would be to harm/kill my family and I. In that case, If I had a gun I would absolutely immediately stop him

Unless his character disgusts and sickens me to that extreme of a point, I dont really see me wasting the time and energy torturing him either.

From time to time, when presented with fictional, hypothetical situations(with a slight comedical overtone) such as this one, I sometimes decide to slightly exaggerate my answer, or maybe just make it a bit more extreme, just to see peoples responses. Psychology and Sociology... its a little hobby of mine.

I'm in the "Red Mist" category.

I actually sort of black out and don't remember what happens when I get really angry. But that has only happened about 5 times in my life.

The last time was when a guy tried to nick my phone while I was outside a club. I don't really know why but in the struggle I lost a shoe - he started running (with my phone) so I threw my shoe at him, and it smacked the back of his head knocking him down.

I then (and I'm not proud of this) dragged him round the corner and beat the shit out of him in alleyway until he was crying for me to stop. I did beat him a bit with my shoe too.

    Taxi!

My mates were furious as they were inside and freaked out as they thought I could have easily been stabbed - but I didn't think, not really, it was just gut reaction. Looking back it was pretty stupid and I have a really shitty phone tbh - but that wasn't the point. I'm not a big guy or anything, I don't work out and don't really know any martial arts - so I guess I've been lucky so far. But I've never been the aggressor.
