still sounds like my dream tho.... if i could just switch my cigs for joints i'd be one hell of a happy man lol...

Scary stuff ain't it. I look back at how little I started on, now I go through an 8th every 5-7 days. Although still not as much as some people.

happy thoughts to me... kinda weird how becoming a seasoned smoker is actually sought after, while the largest rewards come from being new... such as getting to learn everything (dunno about yal but when i get into something new i tend to research it until i know more then the average person does) and most notably.... that tollerance.... nothing like being able to load up your smallest bowl and get fubar'd

ahh yes, i miss that =/ before the wife got hit by that car, being able to breathe, smell, taste things as never before.... all the things smokers never get to enjoy quite as much....

makes me wonder how many really know or undertsand just how much smoking harms your most versitile sense, smell....

i still think i woulda woke up coughing to high hell... but i happen to know we differ in terms of intake... you prefer joints, while i prefer blunts.. so if nothing else, that'd definately be why

So true, I quite miss the first days that I started smoking. Don't get me wrong I love smoking now, but like you say back then it's new and exciting. Ahhhh, how I miss it. Nostalgia at it's finest.

Yeah i think that's probably it. If i started smoking blunts like i do joints it'd be like going back on the cigs lol! I used to weeze in the mornings and almost always have a blocked up nose, and as soon as i got a cough i'd get a chest infection - now i quit i feel so much better in my self and healthier. Makes my mind boggle as to why i bothered smoking it in the first place. I've also got a much better sense of smell/taste now. Especially with food!

I have been working on an OZ of Cali Pharma since Valentines day. Even in my younger days, a quarter of sensimillia would last me a month. My buddies would buy an OZ of the cheap stuff...colombian, mexican, etc and it would be gone in a week.
I have always bought the very best I could get my hands on and leave the lawn clippings to the kids. I guess a good parallel would be comparing a 5th of 15 year old, single malt scotch to a case of beer.

I agree with you Missisippi Steve, but there were better Columbian weeds, such as red and gold, which were more expensive, and stronger, than the "commercial" brown type. All of them did go faster than the connoisseur varieties that you (and I) preferred. I kind of wish that some of that good Columbian, or an equivilent domestic type, was still available for everyday use.

How little? For personal use, with today's high quality stuff, I can make a quarter oz last for months. A half gram can last for up to a week by smoking very small amounts in a pipe.

How much? It's hard to quantify, because of the varying strengths and such - but I rarely, if ever, went through a whole ounce of anything in less than a week.

most - I've had a half eigth last me 2+ weeks with smoking every night, doing small waterfall bowls

Last year, christmas. 3 oz, ALL weighed up to 28.3 over the course of 26 and a half hours by myself.

And when i first started smoking an 1/8 would last 2 weeks! haahhaha!

That's how much an eighth lasts me. Then again, I don't smoke every day, only 2-3 times a week, 4 at most.
