anyone find themselves using wiki in place of google to figure out what things are?

like just say for example, someone mentioned something you'd never heard of before (northern lights for example) would you go to google or wiki (of the two obviously)?

just curious... lately i've found wiki is far more effecient in such tasks... i can enter just about any event, person or item into the search engine and in seconds be looking at the page devoted to that particular subject and in under a minute have a basic understanding of it... and if i still wish to learn more, there is plenty more to learn.
