wierdest thing ive ever seen, help!

Ive been growing my new plants for about a month and a half now with no problems what so ever. I started them off from seed with two 4 foot flouros and they were thriving, i kept them under these for almost 2 months, never changing the light cycle. then 2 weeks ago i moved them under a new 400 watt HPS with a reflector. Then i left for home for thanksgiving for a WEEK, only to return to my beautiful babies who grew a good 5 inches. I got back a week ago so its been 2 WEEKS since i put them under the HPS. Then tonight, making my daily check i discovered that out of the 3 plants in the closet(2 of them are mine, 1 a friends) my 2 are flowering!!!! how could this be? the light cycle was never changed not even for a day and low and behold a calyx's with a little white pistils are on the top two nodes of my plants. Could this be because the difference in wave-lengths emitted by a flouro and an HPS? Im confused as hell. The only posotive thing out of this is i found out my babies are female, too bad there way too short right now. Any comments would be helpfull, thanks peeps

They are pre-flowers. That just means you have female plants and they are ready to flower whenever you choose.

They could be auto-flowering plants as well. I realize thats not nearly as likely as the flowers being pre-flowers, Just thought I'd point it out since no one else has yet.

Keep an eye on the nodes where the calyxes are forming. If you begin to see more than one calyx with pistils on either side of the node, it is flowering. As already said though, your plants are most likely just pre-flowering which is nothing to worry about.

if its a single pair of hairs (per node) its preflower, once that turns to 3 or more, its flowering. i personally mistook preflowers before and began a slightly undersized flowering crop.
