    growing 4 tops?

I know the answer is already posted somewhere on here , but with so much info here it would take me hours to find. :stoned:
Has anyone ever tried taking clones,(after they sprouted roots) toping them , then cutting off and keeping the stalk clean except for the top 4 stalks.
Will keeping all the lower branches off and only the 4 tops of a plant hurt the plant in anyway ?
or will it make the 4 tops grow faster?

Yes it will hurt the plants growth and yes it will direct the growth to the top 4.... if you feel this will make the lighting that much more efficient than go for it, as long as the pros outweigh the cons

thats what i'm trying to find out.
getting rid of all the smaller stuff and producing only the larger buds under a 400 hps.
keeping a even top , like a sea of green i guess.

or just leting 6 clones grow like they want ,

which way will produce the most weight in buds?

Personally....I don't cut or top at all, just LST them into a good lighting position

    growing 4 tops?

I have been doing this recently! I've been cutting all of the bottom growth for clones and just flower like the top 4 shoots. I have also just tried topping one and this is my first time ever topping so well see how it worked out!

too much cutting can stress your plants and ruin them ... some strains handle cutting better than others ... don't overdo it
