Ron Paul's "Tea Party" - December 16th Fundraiser (looks to be bigger than Nov. 5th!)

We get goods from them and they get goods from us.

Either way, I'm still voting, or at least donating for now, to Dr. No.
His ideas prohibit us from policing the world, no nation building, and no American empires in other countries..

He thinks there should be free trade between countries...

    I love Ron Paul!

He's extremely anti-abortion, but he wants states to decide their laws and stances on abortion, which is what it SHOULD be like.

He wants them to decide on the penalty...not the law. But that's another subject matter.

I see on the news that Ron Paul did it again with record contributions........he's got backing, we'll see how it fairs out in the polls.

    Have a good one!:s4:

I hope that's for real, would be awesome!

The polls will continue to go up in the 3-5% increments that it has been doing, but they will not reflect the REAL support for Ron Paul. Zogby, Rasmussen, Gallop, AP etc - they poll the Likely Republican' voters. That means, they poll Republicans that voted in the last primary election...when Bush was the incumbent in 2004. That means, the redstate GOP electorate and that is not Ron's base. So, no wonder he's polling lower in places like Iowa, but in New Hampshire he polls much higher, for what it's worth. But Paul is pulling people from the Democratic, Independent, Moderate, Libertarian, Constitutional and Apathetic side and they are not being counted in these polls. Not to mention the fact that they poll land lines only, and leave his name out etc...

Like you said P4B, he's got the backing. Follow the money man. OVER $6 million in one day! NO ONE ELSE CAN CLAIM THIS KIND OF SUPPORT.

I agree with ya....he's got the backing and polls can be very wrong from time to time. LOL...if he wins New Hampshire I got a bit of crow to eat:

All shittin' aside though....it's nice to see someone come in and give the system a bit of a kick in the ass. I still feel though that between his anti-abortion and his military isolationism he just won't have the "mainstream" backing that he needs. Likewise, his comments on FOX this morning took him a few steps back also.

I do tip my hat to all of ya that are working for the dude and making the contributions.....if nothing else he's brought up the interest level for some that otherwise may not have given a crap through the entire process.

    Have a good one!:s4:

How is he an isolationist? He wants to talk and trade with other countries, not isolate them like we have done with our enemies. I'd say our current policy is far more of an isolationist society than what Ron Paul proposes.

By the way, anybody know what's goin on with the Ron Paul blimp? According to their page they need about $150,000 by this friday to keep it in the air, and the donations aren't moving like they were. I'd hate to see that thing grounded!

Today was also the 2nd day in a row I saw a Ron Paul banner hanging from a bridge over a heavily congested freeway. I'm seeing these a lot more frequently. I'd love to make a massive one to hang over the 10/15 freeway interchange....no idea how that is possible without getting hit by a car, but if it could be done that would be awesome lol

It's time to get in the streets, hand out RP slimjims, signs, buttons, stickers, yard signs.

IMHO, the Republic needs us NOW, or we're completely lost, and our grandchildren will hate us, as we have let our guard down and lost our Republic.
^ I agree with all that plantboxer. The Republic has slipped away. Our children and grandchildren may (unless Paul is elected or this movement goes critical mass) grow up in a very different Amerika than us.
