Her name is Roxy, she is a Blue Heeler mix, sweet as can be, loves to run and play rough, bullies my venus a little too much, but my baby holds her own. she has two new people who love her very much, and a new dog lovin home. the previous people who her owner lived with didnt like dogs, so when her owner left the house, they would lock her in the utility room for like 8 hours, no food, no water, no light. she has a big yard to play in now, she doesnt like to come in for bed at night, and 4 new playing buddies. can u tell shes happy?

Aww she's a doll! I love heelers. They are SMART SMART SMART. Does she know any good tricks yet? And does she try to herd your other dogs?

yeah she does the normal sit, stay, speak. I guess i didnt think of it till now, but her nipping at my dogs might be her trying to herd em... silly girl.. they hate it.. they beat her up and bite her and stuff when she tries to play cause all my dogs wanna do is sleep and eat. she is awesome, and spoiled. my sis and her bf took her to sam houston state park and she ran her ass tired.. she came home that night, drank half a gallon of water, and hit her bed till 8 am the next day...

The name of the breed is actually derived from its habit of nipping at the heels of cattle to herd them. It's a really unique breed, meant to be able to work a full day under the hot Australian sun. You should read up on heelers! It might answer some behavioural questions.

CUTE! Blue heelers are cool. Really good dogs and easy to train. Need lots of attention.

My old roommate had a blue heeler mix, and he was a cool dog, as long as he wasn't ever left alone. But thats any dog for ya.

you know whats funny? in that first pic up there shes blowed out of her mind.. the guy holding her was trying to get her to speak and all she could do was rowrow.. see that smile? yeah.. i smile when im blowed too. lol

Sneaky indeed. My old roommates dog chewed up my couch, chewed on the outside of the house, ate the wires that connect the cable and phone...ate part of the bannister outside..

would whine alllll day if my roommate wasn't home.
...and all night if he was left outside.

My other friend owns my old roommates dogs brother....and every time he brings him over to my house, he always ends up getting out of the backyard and coming around to the front door. It is odd.

I just love dogs..
