upon further examination of my weed, i saw some little red hairs. does this mean its a guranteed crazy high?

yeah, pics would really help. re4d hairs is just one of the factors that determines the quality... having said that, i have smoked weed that looked amazing, but either tasted terrble or didn't get me as high as high as it should've (considering what it looked like). so even with pics, it's hard to tell sometimes... nearly impossible without pics

alot of old timers used to harvest when the majority of the "hairs" would turn red. these are actually the pistols of the female flower. ive had bud with lots of red hairs but not all that good, got you higher lookin at it than smokin it. the magic ingredient is the "crystals" on the buds. the really good pot looks like its coated with tiny diamonds. not sayin that red hairs dnt mean anythig sometimes its the bomb. but its all in the strain

Red hair is good to see but does NOT necessarily imply good quality.

Red hairs don't necessarily mean it's good. I have smoked weed that looked SO good, red hairs all in it...and it was shit weed. I had to smoke like 4 bowls to get a buzz..those red hairs are the pistols from the female flowers (buds) and nothing much else, I have seen white and brown ones as well.

Actually I would say they're more orange than red...
