I "plan" to veg them for about 3 months. Because of the space I have I will have lots of screen (chickenwire) to fill.

I plan to not allow the plants to get over 10inchs tall before I start the SCROG. So about 10-11inchs from the top of the pot.

This will also give me room to get in underneath the canopy and do some dirty work, you know, watering and what not...

Funny thing.

I was going to start out with some bagseed as an experiment to test and calibrate my setup. In which case my answer would be, hell I don't know.

So, I found out that I had germinated 2 of my Super Silver Haze seeds. Definitly wasn't what I had planned on growing this time around.

I've never tried to SCROG, SOG or even LST this strain before. I've grown it outdoors twice though.

It CAN get kind of tall. But we'll see. If I think I have to I'll just TOP them.

I'm not too worried about it. At least I know if all goes well I'll have some potent shit...It's a very wierd strain. Gives you a high that you'll never forget. It can be kind of trippy sometimes.

I think what happened was while I was going through my little seedbank the packet with the SSH must have been open just a little bit and the two of them fell out of the package onto the table. I figured I was going to just grab any two seeds I found laying around. (and trust me, sometimes I find a few in some strange places.) I guess after putting all the seeds back in the freezer I noticed those two sitting on the table first...

So I thought to myself a little while later. I was like, "where the hell did those two seeds come from" because I had just gotten off work and I didn't smoke after I got off work. And I was 150% positive that I cleaned the table off before I ate dinner! So I checked all the packets. I write how many are in there on a little label before I put them in the freezer. Sure as shit, they were the only two missing out of the 200+ seeds I have...

So SSH it is...

O i love a trippy high!(every so often) Ive smoked some of my friends homegrown SSH. That was a long day....ha O' the memories.

Well im glad you know it is going to be some fuckin good dank. I cant wait to see it come out!

Man i need my weed right now....im hungover today and my sack is empty....not exactly the best of dayz my friend.

Yuk...Drink LOTS of water brotha. That's how it's done.

Yea, SSH is one of my favorites. Very high THC levels. The seeds are feminized too so at least I know I don't have to worry about that.

I'd be careful about lettin them veg for 3 months, especially since you said you area of growing experience is outside. When you switch over to 12/12 inside the plants go FRIGGIN WILD and double sometimes triple in size in just a week or two. I'm no expert on scrogging but everything I've read seems to say grow till the screens only a percentage full, I'm not sure of the exact percentage though.

The strain I'm using doesn't get big enough to allow a growth spurt to become a problem. At least I hope not...lol.

I've SCROGged outdoors many times. I usually allow the screen to fill up as much as possible. But the only thing you DO have to be weary of is the plant blocking other limbs trying to come through the canopy. Outdoors I've never really had an issue with it, probably because the sun produces more than abundant light.

So I'm not so sure how it will play out indoors. But I'm going to give it a go and see what happens.

I'll update the log with a couple pictures tomorrow. I got some sprouts now!
