Natural Human Social Needs
I find it weird that humans need each other so much. I dont get how hermits live alone with out going mad.
Think of this if you will, prisoners in maximum security almost always go mad even though the only company they are missing is that of mocking prison guards, murderers, and rapists. We're not pack animals anymore so how come we need each other even more than wolves and jackals do, at least they dont go mad by themselves.NextLineIsMine Reviewed by NextLineIsMine on . I could live alone (not jail cell alone) if something major happened and everyone in the world died (is that what ur talking about?). But I would need a dog or 2 with a few cats for something that living to talk to, even if they don't talk back.
I would say I'm very independent. Grew up out in the country learning/entertaining/maturing pretty much myself.

We need a sense of belonging in order to survive. If all taken away, there are massive psychological affects that lead to the physical.

Natural Human Social Needs
Well... i live alone, and for me its the best thing... i dont feel any need of company... in fact, i plan to live as a hermit as soon as possible.
And i would be glad if people stopped to care about me... i would like to live my life only for my own... there is other reasons for us to be here... people arent the only thing in the world... in fact, people are only a very small part of this enormous and mysterious world... and thats why i want to leave the world of the people... to unravel the mysteries of the world without have to care about anything else (including the world of the people).

Yeah at least in nature you have the wild life and the elements to keep you busy
In the city..it really seems like people get down when they are alone. I know I go crazy just sitting in my room alone for too long! and seeing people entertains and stimulates.. therefore it is another one of those highs we chase for, and so on I imagine.
