Wanting Info About Levels

Hello all....

I can't help but wonder about the levels of Probation Officers. I was told by my PO she is ONLY sending it out because I take other meds (buspar and seoquel)...otherwise she would had tested it there on the spot. I would imagine that with all the reading I have done from this wonderful site that the "in-house" test level was probably 50ng. Would that mean that the level for sending out would be the same 50ng level and she was wanting to make sure any possible positive would be from my RX meds? Am I'm safe to think that I would be considered negative for THC?

If that is the case then I am certain that I passed with help of dilution becaused I tested myself before going in for my first UA with my PO.

Never believe your PO. Not to jinx you or be negative but they tell you one thing and do another. Don't be suprized if she tells you all is good and then you get a warrant in the mail. Been there.

The 50 ng/dL cutoff only applies to "dip" tests done at a site other than labcorp. If you took your test at a labcorp location or if the sample is being mailed off to another labortory for GC/MS confirmation, the cutoff will be 15 ng/dL.

It sounds like she maybe having the GC test done. If she is then it wil be tested at the 15ng level.
A word to the wise,don't tell your PO what prescription drugs you are taking. If they are legally prescribed drugs you can tell them after a test comes back. In your case neither of these drugs would have showed positive on a 5 or 10 panel standard drug test. But because you told her about the prescription it looks like she has ordered the GC/MS test which is harder to beat.
You still may have 2 things going for you. It still maybe dilluted enough to pass and if this is the first test and it ends up positive tell the PO you smoked about about 2 months ago.

Labcorp only uses the 15 ng/ml level for confirmation purposes only. When I was in the office today I was reading the pamphlet..
