Dolomite Lime in the water?
Hi Mikeyjo,
I added 1 1/2 table spoons of dolomite lime per gallon of my Promix when I transplanted 1 week ago but my plant is now showing little copper dots on the top new leaves. On the bag of lime it says contain 21% calcium and 12% mag. Its hard to find calmag here except at the hydro store sells it for like $30 and its not Botanicare line, i dont think so. So trying to save money but I want to add some calcium.
I also added some egg shells during transplant. I prinkeled some in the hole where the plant was going to sit in the pot. I read thats good for calcium also.
My plant is almost 4 weeks old now and haven't used any nutes yet. I have Miracle Grow 24-8-16 standing by but no calcium in the micro nutes list.
Any advice welcome, anyone.
Thanks for helping!buzzedlady Reviewed by buzzedlady on . Dolomite Lime in the water? Hi, I want to add calcium to my water. Can I just mix some dolomite lime (source of calcium) WITH MY NUTES and the water all together? If so, how much per gallon? Should I strain before watering to keep the granules out of the soil? Thanks for helping! :jumphappy: Rating: 5
