Don't learn any more covers and write as many songs as you can during your jams. Just write anything you can think of and experiment with it. You'll end up throwing away many bad songs, but you'll get a couple great ones in the process.

Our first gig okay, so the band im in (im the bass player) has our first gig on friday... basically, we went down to an open mic at a place called the moody blues last night, and as son as we walked in the manager offered us a gig on thursday, and we said yeah.. then he realised some1 is already playing then so now we have to do it on friday, and its gonna be hella busy.. and im shitting myself, lol, since its our first gig we're just gonna do covers of songs for a while, til we can start getting gigs in Rating: 5
