YO! Sports Physical?

Ok, heres the deal. Every year before baseball I get my physical, with the family doctor. I was wondering if they check for weed, or do your parents have to ask for it? and I am 18....does that mean anything? I smoked last friday !!

Well i got paranoid and have been hitting the gym super hard since saturday. I am 6'2'' and weigh 180 and I'm pretty ripped. I have about 7% body fat and I use creatine supplements, play basketball, lift weights, and sit in the sauna afterwards and I always drink lots of water. Have you heard of creatine supplements masking the weed? I was just wondering if I have a chance just to be on the safe side.

around here, the parent has to request for the doctor to test for weed in the urine. The doctor cannot do it without the parent's request.

Creatine builds muscle and makes diluted samples appear "undiluted". When I take my physicals for football, they never ask for a urine test, unless a parent requested it or a coach thinks you're takin steriods. They'd test a football player before they'd test a basketball player. But, every school has different policies and regulations for sports.

In order for your parents to request a drug test you have to be a minor. If you're 18 they can't do that.

You won't believe this...

I was about to leave for my physical alone ya know. But when im about to walk out the door my dad stops me and tells me he's going, right then im like theres somethin fishy. So we get to the place and my dad goes up to the receptionist and has a discussion about something quietly, i was like oh shoot!!! I walk in to take my piss test and they take my piss. The physical went fine and i was just gettin out of the examination room and my dad was talkin with the lady who checks the piss, and im like freakin out by then. When my dad is done talkin to the lady he starts smiling and is all nice to me when we walk out and go to get a bite to eat. We start talkin and i asked why he was talkin with the staff so much, and hes like i got your urine checked for marijuana and he said i passed. I flip shit and go crazy on him and tell him "you dont trust me?" and "i dont smoke weed!" and stuff like that to make him feel sorry. He has been brown-nosing ever since, HAHAHHAHA! It worked out great, im glad i got a piss test.

I recommend to try some creatine supplements if you wanna clear out in about a week or less. Dont mess with the expensive products.

I think parents wanting their kids drug tested is a waste of time and money, for the most part. Wouldn't it just be easier to have an open relationship with your child? My parents know I smoke, so them drug testing me would be utterly pointless since it would just tell them something they already know, and make them spend money not needing to be spent.

Too bad kids are scared to tell their parents. I was too, actually. Sigh.
