I can only guess the seed germination would be similar ... if it was me, I would soak the seeds in tepid water for 3-4 hours, then bury them in a light, airy soil, about 1/4" deep ... resist the urge to keep it wet, as too much moisture ruins seedlings ... keep the soil around 80 degrees until the seed breaks surface, then you can keep it at room temperature ... just think of how nature does it, and keep it simple ... and, probably a good idea to lay off the fertilizers, shouldn't need any for a good while ... good luck :jointsmile:
