See, I thought 10 bulbs sounded weak for 8 plants too, but since they were lowrdyers it might suffice?!?!?

And the lights are 7 soft and 3 daylight. When I bought them I thought that it might the other way around, 7 daylight and 3 soft, but figured they are relatively inexpensive and could easily fix it if I were wrong. Am I? (Autoflowering plant, will use the same bulbs the entire way thru on an 18/6)

As for the ventilation, I plan on propping up the tub AND the pots using.....anything really...probably DVD cases. So the tub won't be sitting on the ground which will allow air flow in, while I will have 2 6 inch fans on top of the holes to exhaust the heat. My grow will be in a closet that has doors I can shut to give the lowryders complete darkness for an 18/6 light schedule.

I'm thinking of using a soil mix of around 70% regular potting soil and 30% perlite. I'm afraid of messing my plants up with this soil so this could change. Having trouble finding soil right now during the winter!!! GRRRR
