    Eppiphany today

Well I had an epiphany today... I had come in from the woods after burning down a fat joint (only shwag, but my tolerance has not come back yet after my break). So I come inside, sit down watch some tube... Nothing is on, so I start surfing the channels.

Then I come to chnl 44, the Catholic channel. They are playing some cartoon about Original Sin (Adam, Eve, Tree of Knowledge, apple, you know the bit). Anyways, I figured it out. Cannabis is like the fruit from the tree of knowledge. It allows you to understand things beyond that which humans are intended to understand. Maybe not cannabis, maybe something else, maybe cannabis and something else... I dunno, but I'm very worried. It almost feels like the church was created as a measn to control us, not to save us... Being raised a Catholic, that type of thought scares me...

I dunno, I was absolutely fried, but yeah... Everything clicked and what I saw was the history of the world as it truely is, and that is a fearsome sight

religions were created to control the masses. If a ruler wanted to get a group of people to do something, he'd say, "god' would want you to do that. So 'god-fearing' man did what the ruler said.

its nothing new, churches have been controlling people since they were first built, churches used to have nearly all power over an empire back in the day and to any political person who went up against the church (even kings and shit) were excommunicated, meaning they werent allowed to stay in that area ne more because they disagreed with the church, i dont know why it is, but weed does make a lot of people realized how bullshit religion is ( no offense)...i was atheist before i started smoking, but afterwards atheism made a hell of a lot more sense

if u ever feel like reading a book then I sugest this one: "Foundation" by Isaac Asimov. Religion is used in the extreme way to control people in it. cool book.

acutally if ur gonna read foundation...you shoudl probaly read the rest of the series..Psychohistory is pretty mondblowing...but then you should read "stranger in a strange land" by Robert Heinland....its a comedy...it goes against so many religeon...and the guy in the end dies to become a messiah...then maybe read dune, The same kind of thing happens to Muad'Dib.

BTW...Weed has actually made me a stronger christian, and the church has not always been about controlling people, I mean there are times but the first change occured when Pope Leo X allowed Johann Tetzel to sell the indulgences, and that broke the last straw which helped spark Martin Luthers Protestant Reformation which actually led to more free though, and shared more of the enlightenment ideas.
