I squished the plant's head with the light by mistake :(

Today I was adding a reflector and I couldn't see the plant by this time because of it but when i looked i had lowered the bulb right onto the plant! Immediately it looked kind of bent and it stopped smelling Only the highest node seems affected it's a bit leaning and a bit pale. Asside from the top everything looks pretty good. How long before it straightens up and starts to smell again please?

Okay, the leaves surrounding the middle perked up but the main stem on the top is still a bit slanted, thanks for such precise information!

    lol fly.

it should be ok. if its an hps you may be lucky you didnt burn the plant or crask the blb through the contact.

it will recover as long as is still alive, but be careful next time.

PS: ive done it before with my cfls. the board there in has a chain over a hook in the ceiling. if im putting too much pressure on one end or being careless raising it it tend to list badly and smack a plant there ok tho.
