Mattsnotonfire, it is rich. Over the last few years there have been lighter versions available or lower calorie or lower fat versions available. No doubt it is rich though.

I don't know if eggnog is popular outside of the U.S. but if not, it is this drink made from eggs, cream, milk, sugar, and holiday flavors such as nutmeg, cinnamon, etc. It's like liquid custard. There are various recipes and various ways to make it like with raw egg or slightly cooked egg. Anyway, I find that it brings out a strong reaction in most people, either they love it or hate it.
