not sure if this where i should post this but i am going with my intuition here :]

i was just wondering if there is a certain time\post count you must have to have an animated avatar. i have tried uploading the avatar striaght from my comptuer and also tried hosting it and putting it on the site by linking it. both times i get the picture but instead of being animated it is just a frozen image of the first frame of the animation.

before anyone asks yes i am sure it is an ANIMATED .GIF file. and i am also sure that it does work because i have the exact same avatar\file on another forum and it is animated and i also just watched it on my computer.

if anybody can help me out as i am sure there is a simple answer to my question that would be awesome.
