help with growth indoors please

Hello, im Total, fairly new to this forum. I live in Mtl canada.I'm planning on growing my first small crop of cannabis very soon. But before i start spending money on everything i'll need, i'd firstly like to ask some questions, if you could help me out.I was wondering if i could grow a small plant, and let it bud, in 2-4 months, is that possible? ( The harvesting does'nt have to be great, anything will suit)I would really appreaciate if anyone could help me, because this is really important for me and my cousin. ( this is a small scale operation, so i would like if you suggested the best things for small rooms to grow it in) I'm a total newbie and i have not grown anything yet, i just have read a lot of FAQS and guides that have gotten me ideas, but i need to get the real info from the real growers in here

1.What is the best seed to get? I know there is different kinds of seed, and i think the one i will get will be a sativa but i don't know any other names.

2. I know good information on how to germinate the plant, soak it in towel pap/ kleenex for a few days until the root comes out. But what do i do with it after? I transfer it into what kind of pot? i know what kind of soil i need though( no buds, sterilised, plenty of nutriments, having a bit of salt and spungy material at the same time.

3. What about the lighting??? i have a good idea what to get, but im not sure how to set it up or how far to put it away from the plant when it is growing. could anyone help me clear this up because i know i have to get some sort of Fluorescent or 400W bulb, but i'm trying to keep this as small as possible, what could be my best method of succeding?

4. Watering, cutting,harvesting, any related information i would really appreciate, since most of the guides that i've read cover a really small part of how to cut, prune, and harvest the buds.

5. any other usefull info would be extremely appreciated^ ^ thanks a lot guys, i hope i get the information i need

6. What king of material should i be getting? I want to grow 1-2 plants in a pot at home in my bedroom, i would like to know what would be good to get and what would be usefull (lights/fertiliser) thx

Ok, so i just found out from our dealer that the seeds are of a blend of sativa-freezland. I would like to know, most growers suggest 18/6 for 3 weeks, how tall will that grow? What if i want to expand the time of growth to make it bigger? how tall can i expect it to grow after 3 weeks? 1 month? 2 months? And i will most likely use CFL( compact fluorescnet lights), how much power output will i need to grow about 2 -3 4 max plants indoors. ( we dont know yet if we will grow them in a drawer or on a table or in a closet? I would really appreaciate any help at all... I am In desperate need of help

Ok, we've found a perfect spot to grow the little plants. Its in a night stand that mesures 15" deep. 13" Wide and 13"Tall. We would like to grow and let the seedlings germinate in that small spot, any help on how to set up the lighting to have at least 2-3 little plants in there that recieve light? aluminium paper is in other no?

yes you can have buds growing bigger fast in 10 weeks and i'l probably harvest in less than 4 months.---------northern lights----------notice the trichomes starting in 10 weeks.

IMHO, you'd be better off going with a mostly indica strain they are generally a shorter, bushier plant. Sativa grows taller and slower, (generally speaking). Just my 2 cents. Good Luck

fuck man y ou dont know how much i ask my seed dealers ( well i have 2) for them northern lights. I raed a bit about them and they have a great yield capacity, and they are execellent newbie begginer seeds( perfect for me) and they adapt pretty well... What kind is northern lights? sativa/indica? or is it it's own strain? yeah i know indica is smaller and bushy, sativa grows bit taller and slow. But i've heard that sativa gives way better buds with a cerebral high compared to the indicas ( im working for quality here, i have absolutely no rush, and plant to do the flowering process for as long as it takes to get the most out of my first crop.) any advice on how low i can keep it? i'll try the topping process, making it bushier and little at the same time, witch should prove a good advantage. my dealer friend is gunna ask his main dealer about what seeds he has and what price each, so i should decide by then. What do u suggest the most? Northerns/sativa indica blends? thx a lot

Yeah I've heard great things about NL and NL/big bud. I used to prefer sativa also, but since my space is limited I started growing Indicas and found I really like them although they do tend to make me a little lethargic. [I]Wish I had some sativa seeds to send your way. Maybe someone else could step up and help out a bro in need.[/I]

Of course I could remove the other top shelf to make it 22" high, but it would be less stealth if someone would open the cabinet, ill just have to make sure my dad doesn't go in my room ^ ^, even less near the cabinet, because he will be asking questions

u might just do it in that space because when its 20'' tie it down 90degrees and ur buds will turn up. n-lights is 50/50 sativa and indica but if you give her 12/12 at 5-6 weeks you'l push her towards sativa or even more dark period like 11 light 13dark like mine is at now will have her giving all the sativa she's got with thinner leaves.- look 26 days now- use DNF nutrient bloom A and B www.hydroponics.com
