I don't like MG because you don't have the sort of control over feeding schedule that you would have with a more bare-bones soil. Also the peat content can be problematic for many growers, especially if you are keeping the plants in the same pot for more than a couple months.
Whatever you choose for your seedlings should be light, airy, and contain no added ferts. If all you can get is pre-ferted stuff, the MG organic isn't THAT bad if you add some extra perlite and flush the soil out before putting your beans in there.

LMAO right..people on this site trips me out...Remember that Post a LONGGGG time ago with that one guy who said "CHEAP GROW" and his shit came out better than any grow log i've ever seen..And he used a trash can...ANd all thru his grow log you had people doubtin his efforts to this "cheap grow" but when his plants started growing and He had a VERY big yeild....ANd to make it bad, a lot of people were there like "you cant go cheap to do this..you cant use cheap blah blah".My Point is.... You dont have to use it i understand but i kno a bunch of people who used MG and still came out successful, so the moral of this story is just because something dont work for you doesnt mean it doesnt work for others....... but YOUUUUUU kno best so i wouldnt take my advice over yours if this was my post but TRUST ME, MG is not as bad as it seems...Correct, you cant control it but then again you dont have to worry about adding to much Nutes and too little nutes and when you use MG your not suppose to use the whole entire thing for a plant, your suppose to use half regular soil and half MG and its not strong at all i dont understand... but for a seedling i understand i can see you not using cuz its strong but for a plant thats 2weeks n older then MG is the best for BEGGINERS...and thats my opinion, Im not comming at anybody in anyway possible, im just kickin what I kno is a fact for me...but hey thats me, it worked for me when i first started....

    Peace

LOL...woooo-saaaaa!! nah im just tired of people shittin on cheap utensils for growing marijuana.... But just for the people who took my words the wrong way, i'm not saying its "THE BEST SOIL IN THE WORLD" but for a begginer it should be fine. I can remember being a begginer and one big thing begginers deal with other than mites are nutrient problems, for adding too little or too much!! But with the Miracle Grow all you do is water and add other fertz later down the line...I dunno, maybe it was just easy for me or something... :wtf:

    Peace

The Moisture Control MG has a small amount of Coco Coir in it too. Almost impossible to overwater, if you have enought drainage holes; as least in flowering mode.... Still need to add perlite/vermiculite.

I did add 2 cups vermaculite per bucket in
the 2.5 gallon buckets. And added 3 cups to the girls in the 5 gallon buckets the girls are in now. Comes out to 1 cup per gallon.
