It will make the bowl burn better and you will get smoother, bigger hits, always break up your weed.
And no, cigarettes dont increase your high, if you dont smoke, you will have some affects, but i wouldnt consider it boosting the high, for me it ruins my high.

I agree...it actually seems to lessen and shorten the high for me. If I ever get really surprised with an intense high in a bad setting I will start to panic and a cigarette seems to calm that down a little, but it could be placebo.

As long as the weed isnt sucking through the pipe its ok. The only thing that I know makes your bowl burn slower or faster is how dry or dank the weed is. And I dont believe cigarettes increase your high, I'd just stick with another bowl to increase my high
