    An 'outdoor' seed grown indoors?

I have just purchased some seeds from sensi seeds called
Ruderalis Skunk as it was recommended to me as a good Indica to grow.

But to my horror (I should have done more research, d'oh!) they are outdoor seeds from what I am now reading on sensi's site.

The thing is, the guy that recommended them to me knows it will be grown indoors (unless he forgot, bloody stoner!).

    So the big question...

Can I grow an outdoor strain indoors?

I am using HIDs in a hydro setup and have experience with indoor strains but I have never come accross this before.

It also says it is an auto flowering strain that depends on age rather than light cycles! Don't know if I like the sound of that.

    Any help would be great!

i wouldnt imagine thered be any problems indoors per say. however, i can imagine that being an outdoor plant, it will have a tendency to grow taller than many indoor strains.

It might well do that and I've been reading more on the auto flowering thing and I really don't like it.

If it auto flowers then I can't grow a mother to take clones from which is useless!

Going to swap them for Afgani#1 now that I have researched.

I have grown outdoor strains indoors and also grown autoflowering strains. Here's the main thing with outdoor stains inside, it's going to get tall, and fast probably. But you can super top it. As soon as it grows 3 sets of leaves, you can pinch off the tiny top and it will grow 2 more tops and then top it again at every new node, and you will be able to keep it shorter and bushy. But it's true, there's no substitute for having the right strain in the right environment. But that doesn't mean we can't try!!!

    Thanks Hydro Girl and Klondike.

I made a fast decision and swapped my seeds over for Maple Leaf Indica after doing some reading last night and because they never had any Afgani in stock.

It may be something I'll try in the future and the Ruderalis Skunk sounds like some damn good smoke but I don't want to complicate things further than they already are.

I know where you can get Afghan seeds. Are you on myspace?
