Newcomers...please be patient...

Wasn't sure where to post this, but this is where I was when the need to speak-up hit me.

Altho I have been growing my own for many years, I do not considder myself a pro. (and definatelly not a mod, lol) Heck, I still have plenty of problems, even with the knowlege I have gained from the experts on sites like this, researching ways to grow better meds at a lower cost to myself.

For the most part, I get along with mostly everyone, and only offer insights after careful thought about the ramifications this info may have on a 100% newbie. I try my best to only post valid info on subjects I truly know about, because, if most newbies are like I was, they are greatly impressionable, impatient and looking for quicker/easier methods.

Having said this, I am truly curious how many grows have been thrashed by newbies looking for answers, and taking it for granted that someone with a high post-count is offering sound advice from personal experience, using the latest in inovative techniques.

So...I just want to say, if you are a newcomer, please be patient waiting for responses, and read, read, read.
Please do not look at an answer to a post, and immediatelly think the reply is from an 'expert' just because the responder has hundreds or maybe even thousands of posts. Post counts are not always an indication of knowlege.

When I see a poster consistently post damaging and even negligent responses and advise, I immediatelly look to see how many posts that person has...and think to myself...WOW. Hundreds of crap posts, and going, and going, and going....

Anyway, now that my anger is subsiding, I realize that I'm about to post this in the advanced section. Since I can't cut-n-paste, and I don't really want to put my nerves thru this again today, perhaps a mod can assign the proper place for this.

Thanks for bearing with me, and thanks for all the folks that truly wish to help us survive this maze of misinformation.
