Your Opinion on Other Drugs

Okay guys..and gurls lets hear your opinion on the other drugs besides cannabis, such as speed, crack, cocaine, ecstacy, heroine.. etc. I personally think that they are the "hard" drugs, and will never do them, i'm just gonna stick with good ol' MaryJane I'm not here to put people down if they do anything other than cannabis, its cool for you..just not for me

I think what someone does in their own home is their own business and no one elses. If someone wants to be a crackhead, and they aren't messing with other people, I frankly don't give a damn.

the biggest problem for me when it comes to other, "harder" drugs is the amount of money they cost and how the tolerance level goes up. as the tolerance goes up, you need more money to buy more, doesnt add up unfortunately. but fucking try them, most of them are less harmful than alcohol and tobacco. through my own personal experience with moderate cocaine use, its not as addictive as "they" might lead you to believe. i dont have much other experience with crack, heroin, ecstasy, or speed.

If someone wants to smoke crack, let them smoke crack. everyone gots a choice, if you don't wanna do somethin, don't do it. If you want to, do it!

Yeah, I'm the same way. They wanna do it, that's cool. Just don't try and force it on me or my friends, and don't come begging to me for money when you need more to fix you up.
That's with harder drugs, as least. Such as crack, heroine, etc etc.

Now, with weed, I'm a lot more understanding. I love weed and I have money most of the time so if someone needs a quick five or 10 every once in a great while, I'll shell out some money just as long as they smoke a bowl or so with me.

I, personally, have only done weed (dank and doughty as well), vicodin (4000mg is where I draw the line for myself), morphine (30mg), and DXM (usually only about 2-3 cups full of shit with DXM as the only active ingredient).

Substance addiction and abuse runs in my family genetically so I'm too afraid to try anything else, because I know for a fact that I'll want to do it more and more and more. So, I'm not even gonna try them. Shit, I even did it with weed, which is why I'm now taking a much needed break from it. I don't drink alcohol for the same reason....

But, as I said, if you want to do it and don't try it force it on me or people I know, I'm cool with it. Just don't expect me to help pay for it. ^_^

Im saying that I see plenty of people on message boards like this one and Overgrow who are willing to admit that the government has lied and exaggerated the risks of using marijuana, however they are completely against use of other, synthetic or "hard" drugs because they consider them to be bad. Ironically they probably think these drugs are bad because the same people who told them smoking weed was bad in school and on tv spread bullshit about the other drugs too. Because society is now more accepting of marijuana use it is considered by most to be a "soft" drug as some consider mushrooms and peyote to be soft drugs as well. The line most people draw is that "soft" drugs are safer, or natural while "hard" drugs are dangerous or cause brain damage, addictive and usually synthetic.

...no drug is inherently evil, not alcohol, not cocaine not even heroin. All drugs have a place in society, if society is willing to except them. Our society recognizes alcoholism as a disease and throws the crack and smack heads as you call them in a prison cell, cold and shaking and wanting nothing more than a fix. Drugs are on this planet to help us, not hurt us and when used responsibly and in moderation they could better society but in order for this to happen society must tolerate drugs and drug users until the real benefits of drug use can be seen.
