I always thought that female seeds from a herm was just a myth?

Anyways, I poked one with my calibration screwdriver and it felt pretty solid. If it was just a pod, would it be somewhat stiff? I have had some weed with false pods and they were always kind of poofy and spongy. Many of them also have pistils coming out the tips. What do you think? Is there any way to tell for sure aside from taking the pod off the bud or waiting for the seed to become exposed?

I started with 6; two died from over nuting, and the other two aren't really worth photographing. :( Lessons learned, though!
