I just dont understand why it has to be so cut and dry when it comes to a woman being in charge and acknowledging her sexuality. That does not make me a slut. A man does it and hes a player or just doing what a man does, and its okay, no one gets called a slut. yes, Ive had a couple of FWB, and still count the men I've slept with (willingly) on one hand. I know for a fact Im not a slut, but i took offense because it was such a close-minded, chauvinistic, bass- ackwards, unthoughtful comment. My blood boiled for a second, then I remembered it is pointless.

FWB works in some situations but both people have to be VERY VERY honest.
IF you are saying 'let's be FWB' but thinking 'yeah, it'll start like that and then we'll date and live happily ever after', you're setting up for failure.

yeah all is fine and dandy until you find out the person you are dating was screwed and used... awesome! it tells a lot about a person, I'm not going to say slut, but I def go against it. As I wouldn't want some piece of shit on the floor using my future gf or wife for sex, I wouldn't want to do that to someone else either.

I say just get to know the person well enough and if she's not that type of person then go for it and don't freak out about what other people do. If you're already in a physically intimate relationship before you find out what her behavior is like, then who's the one who's violating your standards?
