Try at least 4 pots. The odds of all 4 being male are rather small. At first, plants put out paired leaves. Later, they alternate sides of the stem. This is the earliest that most plants will sex out. Males tend to show first. They have what look like ball shaped flower buds. Females "give you the high sign"- two little clearish white pistils at the place where the leaf and the stem connect. There are LOTS of photos- go look! Don't use Miracle Grow soil- get something a bit better quality. Those curly bulbs will work- regular light bulbs will NOT work. More light is better. Believe what Stinky Attic says, she knows her stuff! Start reading the grow column of your choice (read the stickies first!) and then hit the "infirmary"! You can see what can go wrong and learn from other's mistakes.- Granny:hippy:
