Quicky
You can't grow in that size area with a 1000HPS, lol. Maybe bake a pizza in there with it... not grow plants.
In a cabinet, your 400 is about as big as you can go before running into heat issues. You WILL need an air-cooled reflector.stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Quicky I have one quick question if anyone can answer this. I am working on setting up a SCROG. Now I was going to use a 400 Watt HPS. But was wondering if a 250watt HPS would produce almost the same effect as the 400 watt. I am using a cabinet that is 4Wx3Dx5H. with a total of 12 square feet and and a total of 60 cubic feet. The output of the light in question is 26,000 lumens. I wanted to cut cost a little and still end up with around the same yield or close to it at least. Rating: 5
