Supposedly 600 watters are the most efficient lumen-per-watt wise, also I would get two 400w or two 600w instead of one 1000w because you never know what your future plans might be and when you want to seperate them say to flower one while another vegges you can do so. The only pitfall would be that two units might cost you a bit more. You can't put two different units in a grow room that small but think about it, you can flower and veg another at the same time. Peace
Indico Reviewed by Indico on . Quicky I have one quick question if anyone can answer this. I am working on setting up a SCROG. Now I was going to use a 400 Watt HPS. But was wondering if a 250watt HPS would produce almost the same effect as the 400 watt. I am using a cabinet that is 4Wx3Dx5H. with a total of 12 square feet and and a total of 60 cubic feet. The output of the light in question is 26,000 lumens. I wanted to cut cost a little and still end up with around the same yield or close to it at least. Rating: 5
