thanks man. So say I did buy a 1000 watt though. How far from screen should it be?

i was figuring 1000 watt because I will upgrade again in the future (box wise) so why buy 2 when all I need is one.

so with a 1000 watt bulb it would run me around 83 watts per square foot.

or maybe I will just build a 6 x 3 x 5 instead that would be cost effective in the long run. Would be 18 square feet instead of 12. bigger scrog mean more buds.

pudder Reviewed by pudder on . Quicky I have one quick question if anyone can answer this. I am working on setting up a SCROG. Now I was going to use a 400 Watt HPS. But was wondering if a 250watt HPS would produce almost the same effect as the 400 watt. I am using a cabinet that is 4Wx3Dx5H. with a total of 12 square feet and and a total of 60 cubic feet. The output of the light in question is 26,000 lumens. I wanted to cut cost a little and still end up with around the same yield or close to it at least. Rating: 5
