Get your plant to around 5.8 or 5.9 and raise it up to about 6.0 to 6.6 around week 3 or so. I would not go over 6 PH ever, unless I'm growing in dirt. Plants don't like PH fluctuations either. This can make them rebel as fast as the wrong PH can.

And where is the bubble stone or air wand? This is important believe it or not, and it will help your solution be less stagnant and therefor less cloudy.
