    birdflu never left!

    Histoplasmosis is bird flu !!

My bro had it over the past summer, the docs thought he had cancer, it was bird flu!

really scared my fam, but bro is fine now the meds he takes cost him $700.00 a month, not easy for him to pay that, but he cant get free meds.

How my bro got bird flu is, he was cleaning his guttering system on his house last April
there was a part in the guttering that was clogged, he pulled a panel back and a bunch of dead birds came falling out, bro said it was nasty! slimy! gooey! stinky!
that crap fell right in bros face

thats how he got bird flu

someone else I heard about got bird flu from her parakeet

if you get birdflu once your immune to it forever

inhaling bird shit is how to get bird flu

anybody remember the swine flu scare?

Why don't they stop intensive farming methods, it's no wonder there is so much disease amongst all these farm animals. I reckon that would soon get rid of it. I've seen the inside of some of these chicken farms.

Apparently Y2K did cause problems. I recently read a post from a Valve coder (game company) and he explained that he had to do a lot of work fixing errors that Y2K caused.

The errors weren't on games by the way lol.

the ysk bug was a problem, but it was greatly magnified by the media and the people who needed to know about it had known about it for a long time and had taken steps to fix it.

it was only once it ciculated in to the real world that it got blown up.

as far for bird flu, it is likely that in uk the cold weather has helped reduce it.

    Again - media poisoning(either that or you're being sarcastic, I can't tell over a forum ).

This winds me up particularly as I am a student nurse...

Yes MRSA is a threat, but it responds well to antibiotics that the MRSA isn't resistant to, Vancomycin being the main one used.

Most healthy people are not at risk of getting the infection if precautions are taken i.e. hand washing/hand gels.

The reason that it is contracted mainly in hospitals is because people here already have a weakened immune system, open wounds (including catheters/venflons etc.)

People on large, frequent courses of antibiotics are at risk too. (this is how the infection exists in the first place, research MRSA...)

    Anyways, lecture over.
