i was wondering in the flowering cycle is there a time were it slows down production and then picks up again later? im going into week five and it seems as it stopped clustering so will it start going again and put on more weight?

im using tiger bloom and jamacian bat guano and using some grandmas unsulfurated molassas and i have it on a timer of 12 on and 12 off. maybe im just imagining that it stopped cause im always check them out. but i read somewhere that they put on more weight and resin in the last couple of weeks before harvest! does that mean weight as the buds will get bigger?

theres definitley a point at 4-5 weeks where the plant growth pretty much stops and all energy becomes dedicated to preparing for seed.
once it gives up on being pollinated, it begins to die and you harvest the matured plant in all it resiny glory.

Again with the misinformation. Dammit.
The plant will grow TALLER in the first 3 weeks of flower. This is called STRETCH. The amount of stretch depends on strain. Stretch can be from very minimal, to a doubling or even TRIPLING of plant height. These types of strains should be flowered short and./or tied over.
The plant will put on BUD MASS almost right up until the day of harvest. Your harvest window is determined by the ripeness of the trichomes, but a way to quickly see if it's time to check them more carefully is when you notice that there are few fresh calyxes with the associated white hairs being produced at the top of each cola. There are strains that REALLY bulk up in the last two weeks before harvest. You look at them during flower and go, "eh, that's kind of lame-looking" and then a week or two later go, "Oh! Not bad!"

misinformation? its not the best way of phrasing it, but is pretty much what you said. itll grow taller and extend branches for several weeks before it begins dedicating almost all its grwoth energy into the budding
