Forgive me if I'm mis-quoting what I just heard on CNN; I'm back and forth doing errands and happened to overhear it.

Apparently Australia just elected a new p.m./president. He is opposed to the war in Iraq and will pull his country's troops out. It seems the person he defeated agreed with the war and most of Bush's policy.

I'm very ignorant about politics, but if a whole nation is pulling out of a conflict, doesn't that mean that the countries still involved will have to send even MORE troops?
