    "Wilt-Pruf" whats it for?

    I heard that you need Wilt-Pruf for cloning. Is it necessary or more helpful using it. how do you use it. what is it?:what:

    u dont need it it just helps it makes it so your plants leaves retain water while it doesn't have roots to suck it up

    "Wilt-Pruf" whats it for?

    I like it; it adds peace of mind and acts as a second line of defense (along with your humidity dome) against water loss through transpiration.
    Don't overdo it. You can suffocate the plants.
    I ALWAYS wilt-pruf my cuttings and do not see any droop, even the first couple days 'off the mom'.

    they usually sell this at hydro shops right? and just a squirt while you take the cutting from the mother to the cubes? someone on here said they take the cutting and put them in cool water for 10-15 minutes so they suck up some of the water. Then you dip it in rooting hormone and place it in the cube, spray the dome with water and place the dome over the crops correct?:rastasmoke:

    "Wilt-Pruf" whats it for?

    No, you cut and IMMEDIATELY let it rest IN the rooting hormone for 10-30 seconds depending on type of hormone. The sitting in water step is wrong. You should always water the donor mother well an hour before clipping. If you are taking cuts off a wilty mother, they're not going to do well.
