Got my grinder today!

6 days after ordering it, got here pretty fast I think. It's a plastic one with the pyramid teeth and a kief collector. I don't have any herb to put it in right now, but looking at it I don't see how it could grind my weed up really fine considering the teeth aren't really close together. Is a grinder only used for fat buds? Or am I just stupid...

I always use a shot glass and scissors or my fingers. I have friends w/ grinders if I want to use one. Plus I smoke bowls more than blunts/joints. When I get a job I will smoke more blunts but I'm low on funds so I can barely afford dubs every few days.
