they are the things i do to prepare and enjoy smoking.

I used to have little ritualistic type stuff id do before smoking if i was alone, stuff like kicking off the shoes and making sure i was comfortable and had some nag-champa going. If I'm with another person though it's just pack, light, draw, hold, exhale, repeat.
I hope i run into someone who has set rituals for smoking sometime, it would be. . . I dont know. . . quaint.

Hmmm lets see...

I come home, hang my ball cap on the hook by the door with my keys. Say hello to the kids ( my two cats) grunt at my girlfriend if she is home, kick off my shoes, get into some comfy clothes, wife beater and boxers most of the time, lock myself in the 5x5 bath room ( ok I don't know how big it is, it's small, I live in a studio apt) and plug in the first air cleaner, then the second, then turn on the exhaust fan, check my equipment, load it, spark it, toke it.

Then the REAL ritual comes...spraying enough room deodorizer to kill an elephant, spray my clothes with febreeze and pray the gf can't smell the smoke. But this never works because she is a human drug dog. She can smell a gnat fart in a hurricane at 500 yards and tell you what the gnat dined on 3 days ago. I'm telling ya, she has got a smeller on her that makes it almost impossible to enjoy the high. My poor lungs hate me because the ONLY way I can smoke and not get nagged is to use the gravity bong and it's named Lung Buster for a reason!

I usually walk right after taking a few pulls on the smoking device of choice, then head out for 1-2 mile stroll with my dog. I usually find myself drifting and walking funny then thinking about it and then trying not to walk funny and making it worse. All my neighbors are either police/fireman or some other gov while collar gig and its funny cause I feel safe and really enjoy my surroundings,, oh and music all kinds:thumbsup:

i live with a family member who made me swear not to smoke in the house, so... getting away with it is much like your little ritual, only i cannot afford to get caught, or "nagged" as you put it. high stakes, sometimes makes it more worth it, sometimes it puts me in a fuckin paranoid state that i've never been in.

First i grind up my weed and put it in my little wooden bowl. suck the bud up into my purple days stem, and pack it in a little bit. and then short few puffs, followed by a nice long deep inhale, hold for a few seconds, and let out a nice tasty cloud of vapor. and repeat till the bowl is vaped well. then load one up for my roommate and we will just sit around shooting the shit for a while or play some video games.
