If you're driving at the speed of light and turn on your headlights, what happens?

You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?

Most packages say "open here," but what is the protocol if it says "open somewhere else?"

If everyone lost five pounds at the same time, would it throw the earth off its axis?

Why doesn't glue stick to the bottle?

Is there ever a day that mattresses are NOT on sale?

Man I sure hope to get an answer for all of these.....

    WHY IS THE SKY BLUE?
The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air.

However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky looks blue.

Seeing as how I have no answer for my first three questions, I'm going to reinforce another question by re-asking, "How do you keep a screen inside a glass pipe?"

And, the sky is blue because it's the only color that floats.

Hello Beachguy..it is great to see you..you say I havent answered some of your previous questions and you may be right..I apoligize for that..it is just that they have me so busy these days...

As for this question. How do you keep a screen inside a glass pipe..easy..trim it down a little smaller..put it the pipe and do not stab, poke or touch it for a minumum of 2 full bowls...once that has happened, the resin will build up on the sides and hold it in place..

Hope that helps and I am glad that you stopped in..anytime you have a question please stop by and I may or may not answer it. Have a great day

Okay. Trimming down doesn't help, as it only "bounces" back up when you pack the bowl.

You still didn't answer my first three questions, so I'll add a new one.

Is it a low tide, or a high tide, when you can see both the sun and the moon?

    Black isn't a colour.

    1. Black is the absence of color (and is therefore not a color)

    Explanation:
When there is no light, everything is black. Test this out by going into a photographic dark room. There are no photons of light. In other words, there are no photons of colors.

    2. White is the blending of all colors and is a color.

    Explanation:
Light appears colorless or white. Sunlight is white light that is composed of all the colors of the spectrum. A rainbow is proof. You can't see the colors of sunlight except when atmospheric conditions bend the light rays and create a rainbow. You can also use a prism to demonstrate this.

Fact: The sum of all the colors of light add up to white.

It doesnt matter if black is a color or not, thats not what i asked, i asked about another color that is darker than black.

If you don't know the answer perhaps you could read The Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolf. Not a real color mind you, but there is a certain answer
