Getting a Bubbler Tomorrow

So I'm getting my first bowl tomorrow, probably a bubbler. I have a hard time smoking out of normal glass bowls and blunts, the smoke is just too harsh. I'm hoping the water filtration will help a little. Anything I should know about them before getting one? Aren't they hard to clean? Would you recommend a certain type?

Just get a bong if you are worried about cleaning. Or a vaporizer if the smoke is way to harsh, I don't think bubblers filter it enough to say that the smoke is much smoother.

I disagree, bubblers are pretty damn smooth. Are you new to smoking? You usually get used to harsh smokes pretty fast. But uh, you might want to consider getting some better weed. Or at least some smoother shit. Next time you buy weed ask your dealer if he can get anything that hits smoother and he'll probably hook you up with some good shit.

I mean they are a lot smoother than a normal pipe, but then again I don't think pipes are harsh. But for cleaning purposes I would say get a bong. Unless you have to have the portability of a bubbler. But a lot of bubblers are just as unportable as a bong.

I would get a bong, but I need something I can carry home. I'm used to using a nice diffused ash catching ice catching 2 foot bong, but it's not mine, and I can't safely carry one home.

I am a little new to smoking, most of the time I use a bong + sploof because we have to do it in the room, I've only smoked out of a pipe three times.

Yep, it's a small sherlock bubbler, I'm excited about using it. There were only a few at the shop like that, and this was the most expensive and highest quality of them, but the guy took off 10 dollars so I think I got a pretty good deal.

I don't feel any heat when smoking out of a bubbler. You can hit a lot harder.
