Are you a Reader or a Writer?
I like to read other people's posts and writing responses to them.

Both, but I don't have the time I'd like to spend here.

Even if I have the time the compulsion to write is often too great for me to resist, I just enjoy it more than reading. I feel that reading other people's viewpoints, particularly in depth, is sort of polluting my own thoughts, confusing my own sense of introspective clarity. I'm not saying I don't like other peoples comments, I do read them, but i prefer my own. Do you know what I am saying?

Writing is an art. Reading is learning. I've been more appraised by my writing, I seem to be more of an artistic person than a learner.
I read for opinions most of the time. Opinion is just as important as fact.

The only way to grow, to strengthen your mental muscle, is to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. Excel at what you do best and push yourself to do what's least comfortable; which means, do both! Your brain will have shiny rippling muscles for it.
