how long before weed "goes bad?"

I have been keeping it in the plastic baggie I got it in and have been keeping it in my desk drawer away from light. I read somewhere that the light is bad for it, I'm not sure I'm pretty new to all this. Would it still be fine if I intend to use it all by december in the baggie or do you recommend switching to a jar?

To be honest, if you plan to use it by December then I doubt it will pose a problem. Just beacause it doesn't smell as strong, it doesn't mean it has lost potency.

As I say, if you're really worried, put it in a glass container and keep it out of light. Depending on how quick you will use it - in a baggie in the drawer should be ok.

How long does it take for weed to go bad, or not be as potent, or grow mold? should I put it in the freezer? does that help at all?
