High and StonedAre they different? Do they describe two different types of marijuana intoxication or are they one and the same?

I always thought they were different until some friends told me they're the same. There's been times where I'd describe what I felt as being high and most of the time I'd say I felt stoned.Dec. 21 2012 Reviewed by Dec. 21 2012 on . High and Stoned Are they different? High and StonedI always use high when I'm still able to do everyday things without being slower or something. Stoned is when I'm glued to the couch.

High and StonedWhere I come from, Stoned = more tired, lethargic high - High = Less Hazy, more "up" feeling.

High and StonedYeah, I usually think of high as more of an active, talkative high and stoned as a mellow, chilled high. Or just as really high. Just because saying "stoned out of my mind" sounds pretty cool.

High and StonedIts relative I guess.
 Saying "High"=High
Saying "Stoned"=High/REALLY HighA drunk man comes home and beats his wife. A stoner comes home, thanks his wife for dinner, and chows down :rastasmoke:

High and StonedWell... i always thought that, while both may refer to being under the effects of weed, the word "high" would rather be used to describe the sativa effects (energetic, giggly, mind-racing thoughts, etc), while the word "stoned" would rather describe the effects of a indica (mellow, couchlocked, relaxed, etc).
But, i dont speak english... so it actually dont matters.
