Babies are sick, need help !!
Ok....we'll worry about sexing them later then. Pure white vinegar or lemon juice will work ok for you in an emergency but buy some good ph up/down from the hydro store when you can.
Flush them out really well, check the ph of your soil runoff and let them dry. Your lights are fine for now.
Good luck.Weedhound Reviewed by Weedhound on . Babies are sick, need help !! If some one can help please !!! So i have them under flourescent tubes about 2-3 inches away, water when they get dried out(every couple days) and just yesterday gave them some 20-20-20 plant food with their water, they looked like this before i gave them food though, bottom leaves are dying off and it appears to be spreading up the plants.Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanx !! Bottled water is not good for plants.
Use tap water or RO water with calmag added to it.
You need the Ca/Mg. And bottled water (mineral water) has too much Na.

It was one of those water jug filling stations at the grocery store, it was at pricemart and the water brand was "western family" purified water.

calmag ? ro water ? please define, new at this my friend.my tap water has ph level of 7.4 and that is too high and i can't find anywhere or anything to get my ph lower, weedhound suggested vinegar but only in an emergency situation and not permanantly. There isn't a hydro store near by.

Poker,
Your friend had better start reading and researching quick if he wants his plants to make it. Good intentions are NOT going to make those plants grow and be healthy....only time, knowledge and energy.
Tap water....the stuff coming out of your faucet. Use the lemon juice to drop the ph....and check ph carefully. Order some ph up/down off the internet if you have to but you need to do some serious research and get your basics down.
No matter WHERE you get your water you need to check AND adjust ph if necessary...I don't care WHAT kind it is....your faucet, the store, the OCEAN. .ALWAYS check ph of your water and solutions before adding ANYTHING to your plants.
Good luck. I'll be right back with a good link for sick plants for you to look at too.
