Oh man its 5:30 am and I just got back from shopping. I got everything I wanted at the mall, and saw two people get trampled, plus fought with two guys over a psp (it was the last one). I only won it after knocking down an old lady and blaming it on the other guys. I love xmas, but feel sorry for those dumb lame people who slept there all night to get in first. I got up at 3 a.m. and was the 75th in. Now all I need is a few more credit cards.

My xmas tree grows its own decorations.

Lol I wanted to go out for that but I thought abut it long and hard and decided to go to work instead. Congrats to each his on as they say and I hope the trail of carnage and blood shed gets cleaned up before noon. Wow I bet it was a battle field out there, well happy belated T day everyone off to finish up some filing.

Whats black friday?

It's the term that's used for the Friday following Thanksgiving, Buddy, the much-ballyhooed most busy shopping day of the year. I think it gets its name from it being the shopping day the supposedly puts retailers in the black (as in black ink for profits as opposed to red ink for losses). This season retailers are very frightened about today's profits. Normally a good Black Friday signals a good holiday shopping season. The mortgage lending crisis in this country, though, combined with gas/seasonal oil prices and a fair degree of political uncertainty, are threatening to tip us over the edge into an economic recession. That's why all the retailers were pushing Christmas this year practically before Halloween had even arrived.

Its the day after thanksgiving when stores start to see profits. Well, a long time ago they didnt start to see profits till the holidays, but now its money money money. Anyway, most store open early and have "doorbuster" rediculous sales. Sales that most people will camp outside of the store and fight over when they get inside sales. Seems the hot items this year were, GPS's, TVs as usual, Digital pic frames, and computers/laptops. I tried being one of those people that shows up when the store opens but it didnt work out for me. The lines were pretty much wrapped around an hour before(walmart, target, kmart, sears, cicuit city, best buy, radio shack, comp USA) And they started this thing where they hand out vouchers for the item that you want, they have equal number of vouchers to the item thats on sale, and you need the voucher to buy the item. So some lady in the front of the line gets the voucher for the laptop i wanted to buy. What does she do? She walks down the line trying to sell the voucher for $25 cause she "didnt need it". I told her to shove it up her ass, her husband didnt appreciate it, but I needed to say that. Earlier that day I had been to compusa and was thinking about buying a GPS which I took a voucher for since I was pretty close to the door. I decided not to buy it and gave it to some guy, no questions asked. The result of my trek that started at 11pm last night to 8am today...absolutely nothing...but I still have money in my account, thats what matters.

We went out to lunch today and the girl who seated us at the restaurant said she'd been up all night. We asked, "Was everything OK? Were you ill from Thanksgiving or something?"

"No, no. I'm just fine. I got a jump on Friday shopping, hitting the midnight madness sales." We thought that was wild. The traffic was so bad out on the streets that we didn't bother to go anyplace else other than the restaurant. You couldn't PAY me enough money to get me into a shopping mall or center today. I seem to have been born without a shopping gene of any sort. I also hate crowds. I won't venture back out into the retail market until January sometime. Unless I go late at night after the bulk of the people are home in bed. . . .

Went to work part of the day, then went shopping made some Christmas purchases for the family, and my g/f, and a toy for myself!

It was crowded, but everything was so convenient for me. The one mall and store I went to, I got the best parking spot at the right time. I felt like Jesus.

i went shopping like crazy on black friday. i went to my local walmart at 4:30 , 30 minutes before it opened. there was a long ass line, but when they opened the door , everyone stormed in. so ther was almost no reason for the line, i was pretty much one of the first people there and i didn't wait in lines for hours. once i got in there it was like a warzone everyone is running to the electronic section for all the nice deals. all i wanted for black friday was nice laptop that marked down very cheap. once i got to the electronic section it was packed, it was like a maze trying to get to my destination. but i still got my laptop(it was one of the last ones).

and i am using the laptop that i got to type you all this message.
