Bush Administration Refuses To Condemn Saudi Court??s Punishment Of Gang Rape Victim
They didn't condemn it, but neither did they support it. What are they going to do, convince Saudi's to change their laws based on American morality? A condemnation would only strain relations between the two nations, and result in no actual change for the better.
And as P4B said, are we going to dictate foreign morality or aren't we?
