yes you can use mollases without sweet, thats stinkys thing. something about processing the goodies even better. just plain molasses still helps though. i use it all of the way through, lighter when it is in veg and heavier while in flower. i also quit the last week or so before harvest just because the first time i used it more heavily and untill the end. it seemed to me you could taste it in the finished bud.

Stinky, im using grow big right now and have only about 1 1/2 weeks veg to go. Im gonna start adding open sesme to the grow big, for a couple weeks. Then when i flower im gonna be using tiger bloom along with FF's tri-pack. Im not seeing any carbon on tiger bloom or any part of the tri-pack, should i throw in some mollassas to the mix????

Carbon comes from a bunch of different sources and I've never seen it listed as a fertilizer component, even though any fertilizer that contains sugars obviously has C in it.

The soil, air, and even to a certain extent the water all carry Carbon in some form. Molasses is simply a nice safe way to guarantee that your plants have a good source that they can uptake through the roots. Go ahead and add some molasses, a couple tablespoons per gallon is PLENTY, and you don't need to add it at every watering.

    My molasses schedule:
1 glob per economy-sized laundry detergent bottle approximately whenever I remember to/ feel like adding it... glob size is dependent upon ambient temperature... Oh, and I add sweet or topmax at a slightly lower dose than the manufacturers recommend along with teh molasses.

Hey Stinky instead of me using the Kool Aid Method(remember that one  ) I've decided to use just a tsp of sugar in a gallon of water at least 1 out of 5 waterings.. That dosage should be good enough? And i haven't got molasses in my presence so sugar was the next best thing IMO...I learned a great deal when tampering with delicate strains and adding food coloring such as kool aid....But the sugar works wonders, thc has doubled in a matter of days and when harvest comes around, i'll let it sit with Apple peelings.....

i put some sugar in when watering, and had a VERY light surface white stuff. i naturally cried mold and lightly soaped it and that got rid of it. (was it mould/why?)

it couldnt be easier, a little mollasses helps. (except in folliar) add some during your watering schedual and see if it doesnt. dirt, not hydro since i know nothing(or very much of the other)

I got some Blackstrap today and plan on getting some sweet also, which will both be used for next grow. I will probably use the mollasses every other feeding or once every three feedings. Should i use the sweet every feeding, or only when i use the mollasses???

Also, Stinky i was thinking of adding liquid karma, for over-all health of my plants, i figured they could use the vitamins. What else does liquid karma do for the plant?? and would it be suitable with mollasses, sweet, and FF 3-part liquids?? or is it not needed..
