Getting Better Hits of bulb vap

So I've tryed smoking my new lightbulb vape and gotten pretty buzzed with not much weed at all. But I'm wondering if I just change my vaporizing technique I can get even higher.

I basically tryed to do what this guy does in this video.

Is this right? How far away should the flame be? How long should you light it for? Should you do it all in one inhale? Or should you take several hits? Is it, the more grinded up the weed is, the better? Would a candle make a difference? When do I know when the weed won't vaporize anymore?

Keep the flame about an inch or two from the bulb. it's really not an exact science, just don't let it get close enough to char the bud. You will usually take multiple hits. Gring your weed; you want as much surface area on the bulb as possible. Candle's are better just so you don't waste lighter fluid. And, finally, the pot will be a full brown color. Don't let it get charred. You can still get some vapor off this brown duff, but you'll most likely burn the plant. Instead, save it for baking. You'll need more duff than fresh bud, but it will fuck you up.
