Well I knew that was coming and I was going to say something but Cannabis Campbell has given me an opportunity. You can google Thanksgiving for a more exact meaning but basically when the Pilgrims came over to escape English rule via the Netherlands they celebrated the first harvest of the growing season. My history is a little stale but I imagine it was a lean first summer. They celebrated it with the Indians and it's still basically a time to celebrate a good harvest (for some in more ways than one!) and a time to celebrate with family and friends and be thankful for the good things. Here in America it is one of the busiest travel holidays. Airports clog, interstates become filled with cars of people trying to make it home to see their family. The day after Thanksgiving also signals the beginning of the Christmas shopping season and Christmas season in general. As I'm not a farmer I enjoy it because I get a chance to see my family and just have a good time and sometimes I have given back to those less fortunate by donating to programs that help those less fortunate celebrate a Thanksgiving dinner or done volunteer work for these programs. I didn't have time to volunteer so I made a donation this year, a couple in fact.

Now don't get me wrong CC, sometimes when you get everyone's family together, it becomes a disfunctional family gathering but that can be half the fun sometimes. Nothing a big meal and a good smoke afterwards won't cure. Plus there's good football on tv sometimes.

Thanks to everyone here at Canncom. I've never met anyone here in person but you all are good friends.
